Fish fry fort

Uncategorized, lot number 166

2.5" x 2" x 1.5" egg-shape hand-made ceramic with holes cut into the side to allow fry a safe haven. it is made of glazed stoneware, the inside glazed a pale blue, and the outside left unglazed and roughened to assist in the attachment of plant, as seen in the tank image. Plants are mostly java moss with a single anubias on the backside. The piece is still wrapped with clear fishing line for plant training, since this piece was established only two months ago.

This is an experimental piece I made in my studio to explore combining aquatic structures with my love of plants. If this is not what you are looking for, but are interested in seeing new pieces which might better suit your desires, please reach out. I do commissions as well.
