Prior to combination and placement in tank.
9" tall x 2.5" wide at the base, this 5-sided, ceramic, twisted tower is riddled with holes between .25" to .35" in diameter, large enough for neocaridina to enter. The external surface is textured to assist in plant attachment and then covered in java moss, which is currently held in place by clear fishing line (set two months ago). The borders around the holes and the edges are glazed with a red-brown metallic glaze (foodsafe).
This is an experimental piece I made in my studio to explore combining aquatic structures with my love of plants. If this is not what you are looking for, but are interested in seeing new pieces which might better suit your desires, please reach out. I do commissions as well.
