Melanotaenia splendida splendida " Mount Poverty " is a pretty and very hard to find rainbowfish.  The other lot of these fish in the auction will have three pair.   This lot looks like it'll have 4-5 fish with at least one male and mostly females, it's hard to judge, they're small.   These two lots in the auction are the only ones I have to sell.  My only remaining fish of this species is an adult breeding group of eight that is on display in my dining room planted tank and I have no plans to breed them again.   These fish are around 1-1/2" long and will need to grow out for probably nine more months before they'll be old enough to color up and breed.  Best colors come 18+ months and in a planted tank.  I know you'll be the only person on your block with them!
