This is made of resin and approximately 14"x12"x4". It is set up to run air to it which will filter out via holes drilled for that purpose. I never used it that way though. Instead, I laid it flat to provide lots of structure near the bottom for cichlids to hide in. Either way, it does a good imitation of real rock when under water and it's pretty indestructible.
