Six Assassin Snails from a planted tank with capped soil that was overrun by Malaysian trumpet snails. It took about a year, but now the nuisance snails are knocked back and I have a few extra assassin snails. They reproduced in hard suburban water kept in the mid 70's. I also have them in some bare bottom tanks and none of those tanks have produced any new snails.
