Six young adult Melanotaenia rubrivittata rainbowfish (Wapoga). The species is named rubrivittata (Latin: red-stripes) with reference to the distinctive markings that distinguish it from the similar appearing M. praecox. These are some of the smallest of the Melanotaenia rainbowfish and would be nice addition to a planted tank, especially with a dark substrate. I'll include a mix of three males and three females so you can have a breeding group. Unlike most rainbowfish, this species will colony breed if the adults are kept fed. The parents of these fish (my original breeding group) are kept in a 20L with hard suburban tap water.
