Super Red Pleco  (Ancistrus Sp.)

Nice fish for community tank. Very peaceful and compatible with other peaceful fish, inverts, plants and fry. These fish do equally well in groups or when kept as a single fish in a community tank. Adult males can sometimes become territorial against other adult males (something to watch for as these fish age), but aside from this, these fish tend to be very peaceful with one another and other fish.

I have raised these fish on a diet of high quality veggie based flake foods supplemented with fresh or blanched broccoli, zucchini, or unsalted green beans.
