Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbowfish  (Pseudomugil Luminatus)

8 young juveniles, about 10 wks old, ½ inch and in the process of coloring up.   They typically reach final adult (vibrant) coloration at around 7 to 8 months of age, and grow to about 1.25 inch.

Photos 1 and 2 show typical fish in my breeding group (ie. parents of fish), while photo 3 shows the young juveniles being offered for auction.

These are very beautiful, active and peaceful fish which do very well in a community tank environment, so long as they are kept in groups, and with other peaceful fish of similar size.   They are very easy to care for and maintain, with no special requirements.

I have raised these fish on a diet of good quality pulverized flake foods.  Their favorite treats are live micro and walter worms, as well as baby brine shrimp
