1 x Full Quart Bag Dwarf Water Lettuce

Currently kept in outdoor mini ponds so may contain:
Pond Snails
Ramshorn snails
Scuds
Duckweed
Cherry shrimp

Pros:

• Floats on the surface, no planting needed
• Takes up nutrients from the water column, which can help with algae in many setups
• Roots tend to grow fairly long and provide cover that shrimp/fry often use
• Can provide shade, which some fish seem to prefer
• Usually easy to propagate - tends to spread by runners
• Looks natural from above and can help reduce evaporation a bit

Cons:

• Can cover the surface quickly and block light to plants below if not thinned
• Tends to do poorly with a lot of surface agitation or water sitting on top of leaves
• Roots can get pulled into HOB filters or make maintenance messier
• May melt or shrink with sudden changes in humidity, light, or temperature
• Considered invasive and restricted/illegal to sell or ship in some states - worth checking
• Smaller rosettes can be more sensitive than regular water lettuce in some tanks
