A new species that currently is recognized as Thayeria sp. "Red Tail".  Thayeria is the genus of the more common Penguin Tetra.  Last May I saw a school of live "Red Tail" specimens in a display tank in a Seattle store -- I was impressed and knew I wanted to get some and start working with this species.

This is a BAP submission, and the offspring qualify as emerging juveniles - already showing red.
