Hemichromis exsul- I haven’t bred these for the last 2+ years, but my adult tanking was starting to dwindle… 

these are a truly gorgeous fish - both male & female are gorgeous - especially when in breeding form. 

Male is bigger with a deep red - female smaller  & in her own shade of red. 

These are not community fish, but Ive found that if u keep several of these in a large tank, they’ll spread out their aggression & manage to co exist

a Male & a female permanently housed together but alone in the same tank will eventually lead to the death of the female

but, lovely fish

these are fry about 10 weeks old & 1” in length & without their adult coloring at all yet

will send 7 in the bag - unsexed
