Starter culture containing white worms mixed into top‑soil substrate. This culture does include mites. I’ve attempted to remove them without success, so I simply use both worms and mites as fish food.

White worms (Enchytraeus albidus) are a high‑protein live food suitable for most aquarium fish. They thrive in cool, moist soil‑based cultures and reproduce steadily once established. Mites are common in white worm cultures and generally harmless; they often get fed to fish along with the worms.

Care Notes:

I feed my cultures powdered fish food as the primary food source. Keep substrate lightly moist and avoid overheating for best production.
