Great for fry or nano fish!

Care instructions:

Keep in a knotted old pillowcase, in dark, in warm to neutral temps. We keep ours in dark corner of a closet, on top of old linens.

Feed and harvest once a week cat or dog kibble (prep: nuke kibble while dry in microwave 40 secs, then soak in dechlorinated water 5 mins), ensuring each clump has a piece of food on it.

Pillowcase and nuking the food and ensuring good numbers of grindal keeps mites away!

Easy, no ick harvest: just dip the opaque plastic into dechlorinated water or directly into tank.

Every 6 months or so, replace 1/3 to half of soil with fresh soil that has been microwaved or baked to kill mite eggs and reduce fungus. After nuking, dampen the soil before adding to culture.
