This auction is part of the All-Aquarium Catfish Convention. You do not need to register for the convention to participate in the auction.

This event is hosted by the Tropical Fish Club of Burlington (the owners of this website) and our annual auction is part of this in-person event this year. We'll be back to online, multi-location auctions in 2025!

Rules

• You cannot sell anything banned by state law.
• All equipment must be clean and in good working order
• No more than 10 lots of equipment per person
• No more than 3 lots of the same species/color variant per person
• All lots must be properly bagged. No leaking bags!
• All aquarium species are allowed, not just catfish
• No used gravel/substrate

Pre-sales are allowed

• Sellers can set a buy now price when adding lots
• Lots can be sold online for this price until 1pm Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024.
• Lots sold online with buy now will be picked up at the auction -- they will be at a table near the registration desk
  
• There is no online bidding, only buy now
• For any lots that don't sell by 1pm Nov. 2, 2024: the buy now price will not be used at the auction itself.  All lots will go up for bidding

• This is an in-person auction
• Buying lots online is allowed starting Oct. 31, 2024, noon to Nov. 2, 2024, 1 p.m.
• You can submit lots starting Oct. 15, 2024, midnight
• You can submit lots until Nov. 3, 2024, noon
• You can submit up to 40 lots. Additional lots accepted only as a donation.
• For lots you pre-register on auction.fish, you will be charged 40% of the winning price per lot you sell
• For lots registered by auction staff on site, you will be charged 50% of the winning price per lot you sell
• Sellers can set a buy now price on their lots, which will allow a lot to be sold without bidding
