The auction is open to the public. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to participate in the auction. All monies will be handled by BAS. Don’t exchange money directly with a buyer. All lots sold are “as is, where is”. BAS can not guarantee the proper identification or health of animals or plants. BAS can not guarantee the working order of any equipment.

Sellers drop their lots off between 11am to Noon. Help sorting is appreciated. Buyers can pick up their lots and pay at time of pick up between 1:00pm and 2pm. Drop off/pick up location may change due to COVID restrictions. You must arrange for someone else to pick up or drop off your lots if you can’t make it on that day and time(s).

Bidding: Each bidder must register on the auction site with username and contact (We require mailing address, email and cell phone number) information.

Bidding will be open from May 5th until May 17th at 9 pm.

Proxy bidding will be used.

You must pick up the lots you won on Saturday, May 22nd between 1:00pm and 2pm. Failure to drop off or pick up lots or produce payment within the time frame will result in the buyer/ seller being banned from future auctions.😒

Buyers: Buyers must pay the BAS representative on site in cash before picking up the lots.

Sellers: Sellers must register on the site with their contact information. Sellers will be paid after all bidders have paid BAS, within 2 weeks of the event.

Each Seller must complete the auction entry form on the site.

Sellers do not need to be members of BAS.

Limit of 5 entries per seller.

Write the lot number on the bag or lot.

No live crayfish are allowed.

Lots must be properly double bagged. Absolutely no leaking bags! $2 re-bagging fee for leaking or overstocked lots which will be deducted from the sale price.

No Ziploc bags should be used for fish.

Ziplocs will be ok for plants if you use a damp paper towel instead of adding water.

Large or spiny fish should arrive in a plastic container, a Styrofoam box lined with a plastic bag, or a bucket.

All used equipment should be clean and in good, working condition. Use a box or bag to contain all the parts. (do not include wet media)

Donations are accepted. There is a check box for donating a lot on the registration form.

Minimum bids (reserve price) can be set.

Sellers must bring their lots to the drop-off location between 11 am and Noon.

Bidding will be open from May 5, 2021, 10:30 a.m. to May 17, 2021, at 9 p.m. You can submit lots until May 17, 2021, 6:00 p.m. You can submit up to 5 lots. Only additional lots of equipment or dry goods accepted only as a donation. You will be charged a flat rate of 30% per auction items sold
