Small and peaceful cichlid. These are comically easy to spawn -- I put a group in a tank with some rocks to hide in; fry started showing up a few weeks later and all the adults and fry got along fine. Originally from Lake Tanganyika but I didn't do anything to alter my fairly-soft water and they seem happy.
