Honey gourami - Trichogaster chuna males

Bettas and labyrinth fish, lot number 136-3

These are very peaceful and smaller than dwarf gouramis, but otherwise similar. At the winter auction, I bought six juvies of this sweet little species which I bred so long ago that it was then called Colisa chuna, but now I am seeing Colisa sota and Trichogaster chuna, so not sure where the phylogeny is at now. Anyway, I had hopes of breeding them again, but it turned out I had six males. Since the females are plain, that's the prettiest, but no good for breeding. These guys have nothing to do now but compete for who can make the nicest bubblenest, but I've moved on and instead of hunting for females I'm going to pass them on for you viewing or breeding pleasure.
