Parosphromenus sp. 'jambi'

Bettas and labyrinth fish, lot number 149-1
Bred by this user

A very green population of licorice gourami, possibly P. gunawani.

Licorice gouramis are very small, peaceful fish. This species grows to about 1.5" and I keep a group of 6 together in an 8-gallon tank. This is a blackwater species which will only thrive in RO water with added leaves or other botanicals.

Almost all Parosphromenus species are confined to very small habitats and highly at risk of extinction in the wild. The attached link provides more details about species preservation.

Auction is for 6 fry between 1/2" and 3/4" long.
