General information

To assist with a transition to new software, MAS has dropped our commission to 12% for this auction to encourage sellers to list more items (up to 30 per seller). For successful buyers, invoices and labels will be issued shortly after the auction ends and payment is due via PayPal by midnight Thursday. Payments made after Thursday will be subject to a $10 late charge. Sales for which payment is not made by 10 pm Friday can be cancelled. Repeat violators may be banned from future participation.

Minnesota Aquarium Society auctions are limited to the membership. Buyers/Sellers who are not members but want to participate will have the $15 membership fee automatically added/deducted from their invoice. Inquiries to [email protected].

• You cannot sell anything banned by state law.

Rules

• All lots must be properly bagged. If we have to rebag your item, a $2/bag fee may be imposed.
• As before, minimum bid is $5. Items that do not receive a minimum bid will be cancelled.
• As before, sellers may set a minimum sales price (>$5) for a $2/item fee.
• Bags containing aquatic plants should not contain ANY water.

• This is an online auction with in-person pickup
• You must place bids on this website
• Bidding will be open from Sept. 13, 2023, 11 a.m. to Sept. 20, 2023, 11 p.m.
• If last minute bids are placed on a lot, the end time for that lot will be extended. All lots will end by Sept. 21, 2023, midnight
• You can submit lots starting Sept. 12, 2023, 7 p.m.
• You can submit lots until Sept. 19, 2023, 11 p.m.
• You can submit up to 30 lots. Additional lots accepted only as a donation.
• You will be charged 12% of the winning price per lot you sell
• Sellers can set a buy now price on their lots, which will allow a lot to be sold without bidding
