Cryptocoryne wendtii

Aquatic plants, lot number 968-2
Bred by this user

Great low-tech plant. These are about 7" high. I grew them in pool sand with basic lighting and a little afternoon sun, about weekly water column fertilizer (e.g. Thrive-C, Flourish), and the occasional root tab. Despite their slow growth rate, they seem to tolerate things like green spot algae and blue-green algae on their leaves as long as it doesn't get too crazy. (These ones may have small amount of green spot algae.) Like all crypts, they may experience "crypt melt" (losing a bunch of leaves) when moved to a new tank but should recover.
