1 male, 1 female chocolate gourami (Sphaerichthys osphromenoides) I have observed breeding behavior from this pair and have seen the female hold eggs (they are maternal mouthbrooders), but I have not taken the time to attempt raising the fry. Please keep in mind that chocolate gouramis require soft, acidic water to thrive. I noticed that breeding can be triggered by decreasing the pH at water change time.
