This is an in-person auction. To participate you must attend the live auction on Nov. 2nd in Windsor CT.
No Dry Goods
Nothing deemed illegal by the state of CT will be accepted for auction.
Any items that do not sell must be picked up at the end of the auction or they become the property of the NECA.
Vendors must mark each lot with the lot number, their name, number of fish and species name. You can print lot labels.
All fish lots must be properly double-bagged; a fee of $2.00 will be charged if we have to re-bag your fish.
Vendor proceeds will be mailed no later than 3 weeks after the auction.
The Auction Committee and auctioneer have the right to refuse any lot due to size, defects, sickness, inadequate bagging or any other disqualifying reason. The NECA will not be responsible for any items after they have left the auction hall, however, if within 24 hours, a buyer brings a lot to the attention of the Auction Chairs that is obviously sick or deformed, the buyer will be refunded and the vendor’s cut will be subtracted from their proceeds.
All bidders must register at the auction table for a bidder number.
All bidders must produce a driver’s license or valid government ID at the registration desk for security purposes; the ID information will be entered on the bidder form. Before leaving for the day, buyers must pay for their lots at the registration desk with cash or paypal and the bidder card must be turned in.
The auctioneer has the FINAL WORD on all bids and the auction Chairs will have the final word on all other matters.
You cannot sell anything banned by state law.
All lots must be properly bagged. No leaking bags!
You do not need to be a club member to buy or sell lots.
Sellers need to allow for 15 minutes prior to leaving auction to receive payout
Lots will be distributed across viewing tables by species and type...... as examples: Lake Tanganyika, Catfish, Livebearers, Lake Malawi,
Donations will be auctioned first and then lots will be selected randomly from the various viewing tables, selected by a team on NECA volunteers

You can submit up to 20 lots. Additional lots accepted only as a donation.
For lots you pre-register on auction.fish, you will be charged $2 plus 20% of the winning price per lot you sell
For lots registered by auction staff on site, you will be charged $2 plus 30% of the winning price per lot you sell
If your lot sells for $3 or less, it will be considered a donation to the club
