Group of 4M 3F +1 unsexed. This is a Lake Victoria mouthbrooding Hap that was thought to be extinct, but was rediscovered and is considered threatened in the wild (C.A.R.E.S.). It is not very aggressive in comparison with the majority of Victorian cichlids. It may be kept in relatively small tanks. It may be housed with livebearers and other types of fish. More than one male will color up in the same tank. It is interestingly shaped and has an amazing color. Breeding males are dark blue to jet black with brick red markings on tail and fins.
