Thank you for your interest in the North jersey Aquarium Society (NJAS) In-Person Fall 2024 Giant Tropical Fish Auction! The auction will be held on Sunday November 10th at 12pm and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Doors open at 9:30am and item viewing starts at 11am. The address is the Columbian Hall, 1034 Jeanette Ave. Union NJ 07083. You can use this site to create an account (if you don't already have one) and sign up to attend as a bidder and/or seller and pre-register your items between now and the evening before the auction. Rules
FOR BIDDERS
- Bidding
will start in-person Sunday November 10th at 12pm at the Columbian Hall, 1034
Jeanette Ave. Union NJ 07083
- Bidders
should register and join the auction on this site before the event
- The
cost for a bidder card is $5. You can pay for your bidder card when you
check in to the event on Sunday the 10th
- The
auctioneer has the FINAL WORD on all bids and the auction Chairs will have
the final word on all other matters
- Before leaving for the day, buyers must pay for their
lots at the registration desk with cash, checks, or credit card.
FOR SELLERS
- Sellers
should pre-register their lots on this site
- You cannot sell anything banned by New Jersey state law
- Sellers
check-in their items on site Sunday November 10th starting at 9:30am.
Remember, viewing of items starts at 11am
- The
Seller/Club split is 60%/40%
- Fish,
plants, live food, invertebrates and driftwood are all acceptable items
for auction. No other items are allowed (ie: tanks, filters, air pumps,
lights etc)
- We
STRONGLY encourage sellers to post actual images of your lots (and/or
their parents in the case of very small fry/juveniles) on the site. It’s
very easy, especially with modern cell phones, to capture really good
images. You can also use stock images from the internet.
- Use
this site to generate labels for your bags. Print them out and tape over
them with clear scotch tape to affix and water -proof them. If you need
assistance with this process, just email [email protected]
- The
NJAS Auction team has the right to remove any lot due to size, defects,
sickness, inadequate bagging or any other disqualifying reason
- No
Minimum bids will be allowed. Sellers entering lots can just use the
default $2 as the reserve price
- Lots
with more than one bag must be taped or bagged together, and each
individual bag must be labeled
- Seller
proceeds will be sent to the sellers by December 15th 2024 or sooner

The following rules will be automatically enforced by this site:
- This is an in-person auction
- You can submit lots starting Oct. 27, 2024, 6 a.m.
- You can submit lots until Nov. 9, 2024, 11:59 p.m.
- You will be charged 40% of the winning price per lot you sell
