WHAT IS SPIRULINA?
SPIRULINA is a blue-green algae that occurs naturally in both fresh and saltwater. The algae is rich in protein and contains high levels the pigment, beta-carotene that aids in fish and invertebrate body coloration.

SPIRULINA 20 is made with spirulina algae (20%) and salmon fish meal to provide a high-protein diet without yeast that is suitable for fresh or saltwater fish and invertebrates. SPIRULINA 20 flakes are especially enjoyed by algae-eating freshwater AFRICAN CICHLIDS and livebearers (e.g., SWORDTAILS, PLATIES, GUPPIES, and MOLLIES), as well as SALTWATER ANGELS and TANGS.
