Portion of Amazon Frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum) — a popular floating plant with round, rosette-forming leaves and long, feathery roots that dangle below the surface. Excellent for providing shade, reducing algae, and absorbing nitrates. The trailing roots offer perfect hiding spots for fry, shrimp, and surface-dwelling fish. Very easy to grow — just float and go. Prefers moderate to high light and still to gentle water flow. Multiplies quickly by sending out runners. A classic, no-fuss floating plant that benefits any freshwater aquarium.
