Marbled Medaka Ricefish

Misc and oddball fish, lot number 497

Captive-bred Marbled Medaka Ricefish — a beautiful selectively bred variety of Oryzias latipes featuring irregular patches of dark and light coloring that create a unique marbled pattern on each fish. Just as hardy and easy to keep as standard medaka, but with a more distinctive look. Perfect for planted tanks, outdoor tubs, or nano aquariums. Tolerates a wide temperature range (64–82°F) and adapts well to various water parameters (pH 6.5–8.0). Eagerly accepts crushed flake, micro pellets, and small live or frozen foods. Stays small (~1.5") and breeds readily in captivity. A great conversation starter in any setup.
