Captive-bred pair (1M/1F) of the stunning Xenotoca doadrioi from the San Marcos lineage. Males display vibrant blue-green flanking with a bold orange-red caudal, while females show a subtle olive-bronze coloration. This species is critically endangered in its native habitat in Jalisco, Mexico, making captive breeding populations essential to its survival. The San Marcos locale is one of the most sought-after lines among goodeid enthusiasts. Hardy and active — thrives in hard, alkaline water (pH 7.5–8.2) at room temperature to low 70s°F. Accepts quality flake, frozen, and live foods. A great species for anyone interested in rare livebearers and conservation breeding.
