These are the parents of the fry also listed as a separate auction. They are large fish. Male ~9+ inches. Female ~6+ inches. Male gets dark at times nearly black, and at other times striped as shown in the pictures. Female maintains her stripes consistently. While best kept in a group these two do pretty well together in a mixed Tanganyikan community with a good variety of varied sized nooks, crannies, and caves to allow the female a safe retreat. After a spawn I usually let her recover a bit in a separate tank before re-introducing them in the same community. I currently have them with N. leleupi, A. compressiceps, and N. caudopunctatus.
