Tired of chapped and cracked hands when working on your tanks?  I was unable to find any commercial hand lotion product I was happy with, so I had my wife develop this lotion bar.  It works great!

Each bar is approximately 2.5 oz and comes in a tin.

Completely safe for fish, plants, corals, shrimp and snails.

Because sharing is the best part of this hobby, here is how I make this:

1. Measure by weight into a heat proof container (such as a glass Pyrex pitcher):

• 12 oz beeswax

• 12 oz cocoa butter

• 11 oz rice bran

• 1 oz jojoba

2. Microwave until melted, stirring every 2 minutes

3. Maintain heat for 10 minutes (to temper the cocoa butter)

4. Pour into silicone molds

5. Allow to harden 30+ minutes, or until fully cooled

6. Remove from mold once hardened
