Male and female, great color, easy to breed fish. Why wait years for fry to grow up to breeding size when these are ready to go now?
Yes, they breed true!
Yes, the male has so many bushy bristles that I sometimes catch myself fantasizing about him. Pic doesn't do him justice, there's more bristles than I can count, although admittedly it's hard to count bristles on a moving fish!
Did I mention prolific? Some days you look in the 40 breeder where you keep ancistrus and wonder if 300 fish is "overstocked" or "maintaining good genetic diversity".
1 pair = 1 male and 1 female, each around 4 inches long including tail. I think these guys are about 4 years old. Pics are representative of the fish you'll get, the male is on eggs that have just hatched and I don't want to disturb him until the fry are out on their own.
