You will get a 2" x 2" portion from the thickest part shown here! Yes, you'll get a full chunk, roots and all -- no clippings here! I would recommend either breaking this up and dry starting a 20 gallon tank with it (it's more than enough for that), or planting it in a clump in your existing tank. You may get a couple hitchhiker plants like staurogyne repens in here, too. These are super healthy and growing like a weed for me.
