See schedule below.
General information
Standard member
split of 75% seller/25% club applies. Auction split for non-members is
60/40% in favor of the seller. If there are discrepancies between the
website and these rules, these rules prevail.
For bagging tips and suggestions, see SCAS Home - Bagging Guidelines
- DO NOT USE THE LOT NUMBER IN AUCTION.FISH! IT WILL NUMBER YOUR ITEMS SEQUENTIALLY AND AUTOMATICALLY!
- The quantity box is for the number of items in the bag, not how many bags of that item you are entering.
- Fish, Submersed Plants, and Live Foods are eligible to be entered into the auction.
- Lot Name should be the name of the item in the bag (guppy, cryptocoryne wendtii, etc.).
- If you are donating an item, enter it under your account and click the donation box. No need to use number 300.
- Every item must be checked in through the registration table and verified to make sure labelling is correct.
- For
those registering items at the door, numbering should be in the form
Seller Number – Bag Number. Item descriptions on the bag should include
item name, scientific name (if possible), number of fish/plants in the
bag, sex (if possible), and/or group type (number of fish, pair, trio,
reverse trio, etc.). Information helps buyers know what they are buying
and can earn you more money.
- Invasive
plants (water hyacinth, water lettuce, hydrilla, salvinia except s.
minima, etc.) are not permitted and must be removed from the premises
immediately.
- Native
fish (elasomma species, fundulus species, Lucania goodei, heterandria
Formosa, etc.) can only be entered by individuals possessing a valid
Florida Fish and Frog Dealer’s License.
- Sellers are allowed 5 reserve bags (items with a set starting price).
- If
you are an existing member, your normal bidder number will show up when
you sign in to auction.fish. If you are a new bidder, the site will
assign you a bidder number. Members get a 75/25% split and non-members
get a 60/40% split, so you may want to purchase a membership ahead of
time. Membership is $15 and can be purchased here:
