Used about a year in a 2.5 gallon tank but it was WAY too bright. The images show the Amazon listed (where I purchased it). One thing to note is that the plastic clips are very tight on larger tank lips (Aqueon for example). They fit fine on smaller tanks. you could always remove them and rig something or just set the light on a lid. Comes with the controller showed in the image
