Dwarf Umbrella Plant for riparium growth

Terrestrial plants, lot number 215
Bred by this user

Dwarf Umbrella Plant / Green Arboricola / Schefflera arboricola

Another of my favorite hang-on-back nitrogen sponges!

I've had these plants in my tanks for ages. They are a very fun way to add vertical growth and character to your riparium-style tank. I'll include a photo of the parent plant that dominates my 40B community tank.

This lot will include one cutting that has been thriving in my 20L axolotl tank for some time now. It's currently growing in a hand modified hang-on-back pot of aquasoil (not included). The included specimen is about 11" tall (above the waterline).

These plants are not picky and produce vast root networks within your tanks. Once the stem starts growing larger than 0.25" diameter it starts becoming more woody and bark like in appearance. Multiple times I have potted cuttings from this plant and given them as gifts!

Feel free to message me with any questions about DIY riparium modifications to your tanks!

(I will also list a larger specimen in a separate lot.)
