A generous handful, thinning out from my tank. May contain snails or hair algae but I will do my best to rinse it. Very easy to grow with moderate light in an aquarium or, put it in an outdoor tub and it will grow well also, to provide shade and hiding places for fish- great to provide shelter and feeding surface for fry or shrimp too.
