Cave variety (Pachón population) Astyanax Mexicanus spawned November of 2022. They are approximately 1 inch long and are not likely to get larger. Both sexes look similar; the ones for this auction have unknown sex. In my experience these fish are quite peaceful and do well among themselves, I do not have reference for how they would do in a community tank but they have been known to be nippy just in search of food. They are currently kept in a 10 gal tank with regular water changes and do well but would also appreciate a larger tank.
