This lot includes two pairs (2 males and 2 females) of Half-Black Snow White guppies. These are from a breeding project that is very close to breeding true. These specific pairs will produce both Half-Black Snow Whites and regular Snow Whites.

The first photo shows a mature adult male from this line. The remaining photos show the actual juveniles included in this lot; they are currently maturing and will look like the adult pictured once fully grown.

Genetic Profile:

• Half-Black (NiII): Sex-linked dominant (carried on the X-chromosome).

• Male Genotype:  XNiIIY

• Female Genotype: XNiIIXniII

What to expect in the offspring:

Because the males are X-linked for the trait and the females are heterozygous, you can expect the following ratios in their offspring:

• Females: 100% Half-Black (split 50/50 between homozygous and heterozygous).

• Males: 50% Half-Black Snow White and 50% regular Snow White.
