Possibly my favorite floating plant, this amazing addition to your tank has a beautiful layer of super-fine "hairs" on the top surface of its leaves. The purpose of these little hairs is to repel water in order to keep the top of the plant dry. The only downside of this plant, in my opinion, is that the roots it produces are only about a quarter inch long, so this is not a plant that will over top-dwelling fry a ton of cover.
I will provide an amount of floaters continue within an 8-inch diameter circle.
Prefers med to high light. Grows best in a pH of 7.5 or less. I've kept it in both heated and unheated tanks without problem.
WARNING: These clusters will likely have some duckweed on them. I will try my darndest to get as much duckweed as I can off, but I can't guarantee there won't be any.
