Xenotoca doadrioi “San Marcos” Goodeid

Livebearers, lot number 34

A group of unsexed fry Red-tail splitfin Goodeids- mostly fry of .5”-.75” size. These are my favorite fish- just thinning out the breeding colony. They need an unheated tank and regular large water changes. Mine have been raised in PH 8.2, hard water, planted tank. Should be kept single-species. They will breed once the days get longer and water temperatures naturally warm up and can be kept in tubs for summer. A great starter Goodeid-these fish love to eat and beg for their food- readily accepting a variety of flakes and pellets. Foods should be mostly plant-based because they are mostly herbivores.
