BAP submission of 4-month old catfish. Some of the fry still have their juvenile patterns but are in the process of switching over to the more familiar adult spotted patterning.

I believe currently lucipinnis is considered to be the same species as the petricola, although I think this has gone back and forth a bit over the years. Lucipinnis has been previously referred to as a "dwarf petricola" and reach about 3.5" in length. These guys are always active and always hungry. They're peacful but will eat anything they can fit in their mouths, including their siblings. These guys do best in 78-80F hard water.
