Salvinia minima (2 of 3)

Aquatic plants, lot number 56

A generous portion of Salvinia minima from a well-established aquarium (enough to fit in a 7”x7” square).

This hardy easy-care floating plant multiplies quickly under typical aquarium conditions and is excellent for nutrient uptake and surface cover. Ideal for hobbyists looking to improve water quality, provide shade, or create a more natural environment.

  • Excellent at absorbing excess nutrients (especially nitrates)
  • Provides natural shade that helps reduce algae
  • Offers great cover for fish and shrimp

(Note: As with most aquarium plants, there is a small possibility of hitchhikers (e.g. snails). The aquarium this plant is sourced from has minimal duckweed, but it’s possible some might sneak through)
