A neat addition to any tank where you would like floaters but want more of a dynamic look than regular old duckweed.
Spirodela polyrrhiza grows great with little intervention or care and has a cool habit of the undersides turning reddish or purplish.
Fun fact: Spirodela polyrrhiza is in the same family as common houseplants Anthurium and Alocasia!
I will provide a volume of floaters in enough quantity to densely float in the pictured deli cup. I will do my very best to remove any duckweed, but I can't guarantee it 100%.
This plant is not too picky on temperature or water chemistry, but is coming from a tank that runs around 76°-78°F and has a pH of 6.8-7.0 with hard Minneapolis tap water.
