Adult South American eartheater cichlid, ~8" long (male?). Despite it's size, these are relatively peaceful sand/gravel sifter. Their coloration makes heckellis a centerpiece specimen for big tanks. Not an easy fish to find in the hobby and the reserve price will typically get you a 1.5" juvenile.
