Xenotoca doadrioi “San Marcos”

Livebearers, lot number 12-3

A mixed-age group of young Red-tail splitfin Goodeids- mostly .5”-1” size. These are my favorite fish- just thinning out the breeding colony. They need an unheated tank. Mine have been raised in PH 8.2, hard water, planted tank. Should be kept single-species. They will breed once the days get longer and water temperatures naturally warm up and can be kept in tubs for summer. A great starter Goodeid-these fish love to eat and beg for their food- readily accepting a variety of flakes and pellets. Foods should be mostly plant-based because they are mostly herbivores.
