Broodstock was sourced from Ingo Siedel. Hans-Georg Evers has inspected our breeder's broodstock and confirmed they are indeed the true L471.

Despite what the internet says, it appears that this species grows to a body size of 3" -3.5", not the 2.4" commonly reported. Several pleco experts and breeders have now confirmed this, and it has been our experience as well. Still a great fish, and 3" to 3.5" is still small for a pleco, but it is not as "mini" as previously reported.
