Dwarf Chain Loach (group of 5 adults)

Loaches, lot number 275-21

The Dwarf Chain Loach (Ambastaia sidthimunki) can only be described as playful. They are fun to watch and are always active. They require softer water with a PH at or below 7.5.

Sand only for a substrate as not to damage their barbels. Drift and good hiding places are a must.

They love most foods but this group goes crazy for frozen daphnia. Give them a good variety of foods. These are critically endangered in the wild and difficult to breed, so prices continue to rise. these were about $15 each and 1/3 the size.

Good community tank fish, like their much larger cousins the clown loach. Do not temp them with long fin delicate fish, they can get nippy if underfed.

Added benefit of being great snail eaters.
