Did open the bag and used about a pound of the salt.

Mixing Instructions for Brine Shrimp Hatching:

Combine 1 tablespoon (18 grams) of Easy Brine Shrimp Salt per 1 liter (34 fluid oz) of fresh water for best results.

Very easy to use. I will also throw in brine shrimp eggs of what I have left over.
